SoloStudio is me, Denis Gherstoga. I help organisations see how their work actually works — and make it better. Nine years of founding and running a production company, then a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management (Uppsala University) specialised in quality engineering — practice first, then the theory to sharpen it. I won't claim to have seen everything — instead, here's the knowledge I bring and the work that backs it up.
I work with small and mid-sized organisations — manufacturers, workshops, labs and service businesses — that sense their operations could run better, but don't have a quality department to dig into it. You work directly with me — in English or Swedish, on site or remote.
Process improvement & measurement
Map how work actually flows, find where it leaks, and back decisions with data — Lean, Six Sigma and statistical process control. I've done exactly this at Volvo Cars Body Components: traced why a measurement process produced data nobody used, and what to do about it.

A fresh pair of eyes on your operation
Most companies I talk to don't have a "problem." They have a feeling — that the work could flow better, that capacity is hiding somewhere, that decisions rest on numbers nobody quite trusts. I ran a production company for nine years; I know that feeling from the inside, and how hard it is to find time to act on it.
So this is where we start: I spend a few days in your operation — walking the flow, talking to the people doing the work, looking at how your data actually gets used. You get a short written report at the end: what's working well, where the hidden capacity sits, and a few concrete next steps — prioritized, with no obligation to buy anything more.
The report is yours. Nobody else sees it.

Measuring Smarter, Not More
Degree project at Volvo Cars Body Components: how measurement decisions are really made in serial production — and why the formal rules had quietly stopped being followed. Findings were presented to plant management.
